Coaching for Introverted Leaders

A few months ago, I launched MINING and SHINING IDEA LAB, LLC (MSIL) .  MSIL is a boutique Jungian Coaching firm that also creates content in a variety of genres. When initially launching MSIL for Jungian Coaching, I had in mind that school executives and leaders would be my “niche” clientele  . However, after going through a cycle of Jungian coaching myself, I started asking myself two daily questions:  “Who’s this really for?” and “What does the soul  want?”

Both questions have been instructive.  By asking them daily, I realized that the leaders I am best suited to serve are those I share something in common with beyond role and industry. It’s the introverted leader who may also be a little quiet , who may feel overlooked,  and who may have the next idea and plan to move an organization forward–  but only if  he or she can  get out of their comfort zone. 

It can be hard to embrace that discomfort– especially in organizations that favor our fiery, charismatic, and extroverted colleagues. However, the consequence of not embracing the discomfort is even worse. 

You could have regrets and resentments.

You may not get that promotion to lead even more impactful initiatives.

You may feel shame because you saw a problem approaching, but kept a viable solution to yourself.

Lastly, others may write your personal and professional story for you because you stick to a small group of people while others only guess what you stand for.

We use questions, data, and experiences to mine for your inner self for strengths , learn about what you’ve suppressed, and use shadow work to gain insight. From there , we’ll shine those strengths and talents to share them with the world so that you can have even more impact.
